person’s energy.
5. Another good thing that people who are dealing with depression can do is make themselves participate
in activities they once enjoyed. Going through the motions can sometimes reignite the spark for life.
6. Individuals who have been given anti depression medication should understand that it takes four to
six weeks to see an improvement.
7. People who are working through depression should not make any major life decisions until they feel
they have handle on their depression. Many people change jobs, move or get divorced or married, mortgage their
homes and other major things in the middle of their depression and end up regretting their decision.
- Watch funny movies or read funny books. Laughter is a good medicine.
- Keep a journal or write poetry.
- Buy a pet. A pet is always there to show and give love.
- Join a support group, either in person or via the Internet.
Dealing with depression can be difficult and challenging, but it is possible. The first hurdle will be getting
started. Once an individual starts dealing with their depression and starts to feel better, it can give them the
motivation to continue.
